After parrying John McGinn’s shot into the path of Ramsey, Kepa dived low to his right to push the midfielder’s powerful follow-up onto a post and away from the goal.

It was one of eight Castrol Saves of the Month throughout the campaign that was shortlisted for the Save of the Season award.

Kepa won the award after receiving the most combined votes from the public and a panel of football experts.

His Save beat those of Nick Pope, Gavin Bazunu, David De Gea, Aaron Ramsdale, and last season’s winner, Jordan Pickford.
